Quraish wants to show everyone his way of recycling through his art. He mixes old materials with new ones to achieve a contrast and to create beauty. He feels that you should not discard old and weathered materials - natures aging processes give them their beauty. Besides these weathered materials, he chooses particularly natural colours like those of wood, clay and henna.
The placing of his artwork is very important to him. He feels that the reflection of the light upon it mirrors daily life.
Quraish has brought a personal visual language to his art, with which he conveys his thoughts and feelings. Reading an artwork is totally different from reading a paper. 'Therefore it is necessary one has to find out his own dialogue with the artwork' , he adds.
