Scaciga's concept of recycling is not limited to physical materials. His approach is metaphorical. It is more a re-introduction into the present of something that once took place. It is the conceptual work of going back to things that have already been said by others, to analyse and represent them. 'My kind of recycling is recycling of a world of thoughts. I'm recycling materials that swim loose and drift on in the stream of a virtual sea.'

For years he has gotten his inspiration from Greek mythology
For the project of 'Recycle Art' he expresses his conflict with the noise (of the media) that surrounds us currently. In his work MEDEA/MEDIA he has looked for a connection between the mythical figure of Medea (who illustrates concepts of good and bad) and contemporary media, who break down myths without being able to communicate their stories.
