Masataka Kuroyanagi''art is sacred and eternal.'
In Japan recycling is a normal phenomenon. The government recycles everything. Artists don't see it that way.
Kuroyanagi considers art as sacred and eternal. The 'Recycle Art' project has brought him a deeper sense of this. He feels that he will never ever look at waste the same way and will now go to great pains not to throw something away.
With his heightened awareness of recycling he will look at his artwork and his materials from a different more positive angle. For instance in future, he will re-use materials in a collage... As a graphic artist, Kuroyanagi wants to generate more goodwill for printing and the printer through his printed works.
His three art students also attended the symposium and had the opportunity to be inspired by the atmosphere created by so many international artists.
