Grigoriadou mentions that the concept of recycling is not only about materials. We also can recycle emotions, friendships, food and ideas. Our memory is something fluid, colourful and flexible. Memories too can be compartmentalised, changed, deleted and even recycled.

Grigoriadou has for years created art in order to make worthless materials worthwhile. She uses goods that have had another function, such as teabags, toys, newspapers, stamps and clothing. These things get a new form and function within her collages, installations and textile art.
